Once in a Month

Drawn by an inner calling
I roam the woods
Restlessly following a delicate scent
Lingering around the trees
Mylove-mylove-mylove

Fragments of memory
Echoes of unconditional love
For a man, a seeker, a lover
Keep rustling in my soul
Imissyou-Imissyou-Imissyou

Full of fear
The animals of the forest
Flee from me - not knowing that
I am the haunted huntress
Whereareyou-whereareyou-whereareyou

Groaning with pain
I sink to the forest soil
Look up to the
twinkling night-sky and
Rip off my wolf's fur

Surrendering to the
Transformative power of love
My soul rises up and
Finds its place
Amidst the star-studded sky

A beaming beauty now
Howling with longing for you
Down on earth my wolf pack answers
Once in a month
When I become the moon
