True devotion

Everyone is alone on the heart of earth
pierced by a ray of sun:
and suddenly night falls
(Salvatore Quasimodo)

----
I feel much less alone
less abandoned and desperate
since I belong to you

I Love you in secret, subjugated by the desire
it lead me to an incandescent internal combustion
the burning of this kind are truly painful
but it is sublime to suffer this way
as I do not want, nor can I escape the torment

The manner in which you highlight the word "devotion"
it made me realize how much you deserve it

The desire to worship you was created immediately
without apparent reason, just because I must
I am overwhelmed by a flood which I can't resist

Your believing that I am worthy of your love
causes dizziness, fills my soul with joy and dismay

I'll accept the luscious torment to which you want subdue me
I only wish with all my might, that this could please you

My pleading eyes asking you to go further
child eyes in which the adoration grows
in the same measure as I bend to your wills

You're the sacred Goddes, the dark muse
for whoom I write painful verses of love.

“Love knows no virtue, no profit; it loves and forgives and suffers, everything, because it must. It is not our judgment that leads us; it is neither the advantages nor the sins which we discover, that make abandon ourselves, or that repel us.
–It is a sweet, soft, enigmatic power that drives us on. We cease to think, to feel, to will; we let ourselves be carried away by it, and ask not mercy”
(Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, Venus in Fur)
