beneath receding sky
buoyant menace
on unsuspecting fly
Merlins’ staff
raised to heavens
keeping soul
of descent alive
drunken eye
sinking beneath
the plane of humane
capturing the flame
of its gaze
world above framed
multitude plummit to graves
quiet furnace
hot hearth of coals
boiling belly
of flying knave
white dwarf  
crescendo  
illumination rising
choking volcanic force
accelerating ascent
through bottleneck
spewing forth melted
Agincourt mud  
spraying out  
fanning red death
corporeal waves
of erupting breath
black smoke chimneying
nostrils hexate
centrifuge ceiling
forming nimbus cloud
northern tornado rising
vermilion aurora
flashing forth
catapulting wormwood skies
