Build a Home
I wish not the fleeting’ desires’ of passion’ and lust
I wish not the ride of coasters of emotions
For it leaves a painful trail and our hearts it rusts
And kills hope and love with its violent forces’
I have built a house of wood, mortar’ and bricks
But a house is a building with many rooms and walls
With green lands and deep valleys surrounding about it
Lifeless on its own and empty within’ its halls
But I wish to build a home,
I wish to build home for two
I wish to build a home for two
and the kids
A home where two and the kids won’t feel alone
A home where two and the kids can grow in love
A home where you can always look forward to
I wish to build a home for you, for me
With a garden of flowers and trees
I wish to build a home for you and the kids
To play in the garden we built as we
I wish not the ride of coasters of emotions
