Descent
I crossed into transition
And you froze
I fell from no high estate
Into eyes
Certain looks
That lead at last to cleavage
Your capote
Waving red to rage the bull
Then pulled away
Side stepping the charge
In your custom made torero suit
How do you breath
In the clothes you wedge into
Designed and worn with purpose
Yet I'm the the one who's breathless
In Eden once was common tongue
Shared by man and beast
Tho' every heaven is touched by hell
And you played my serpent well
Beguiling with your fruit, my seed
My eyes pleading
But to take and eat
Your tongue flicking
Your lips licking
But the fall was in your eyes
You change your colors with your moods
Your sign the changing moon
And I flail to touch
What you won't give
And yet
You give just scarce enough
That somewhere its called love
For hell has its depths
Sometimes heaven touched
Wraith like, fading as you play me
Your joy to keep me lingering
In a longing unfulfilled
In your stasis between two worlds
My soul has been fine grated
Sifted
You choosing what you will
My dreams of heaven you denied
My sojourn through hell
Temptations rich supplied
And yet, still,
I would rage you as the sea
That with fury pounds fair strands
See you wet,
Soaked and glistening
Showered with my spray
For I know your borders well
Sea scent's in the air
And mine's the rising swell
Yes, even adamant will break
Given a thousand years
And I would break your will
To have you fall with me
As you have broken mine
Who have waited !ong to see
What heaven will yet be
And you froze
I fell from no high estate
Into eyes
Certain looks
That lead at last to cleavage
Your capote
Waving red to rage the bull
Then pulled away
Side stepping the charge
In your custom made torero suit
