Journey Through This World
The road adapts to the landscape
The skies turns to different hues at sunset
There’s a cool breeze in the mountains
And through rain and snow
The ghost rider rides on
He’s a rock star
And when stopping in small towns
No-one seems to recognize or know him
But he prefers it that way
Back on the road…
Alone with his thoughts
The sound of the engine
Logging hundreds and hundreds of miles every day
This ride
Takes him somewhere between
Divine nature and spiritual enlightenment
The recollections of what must have been millions
And millions of screaming fans
The loss of his wife
The loss of his daughter
The ghost rider rides on
It was here where I had even more respect and admiration for Neil
His gift for word
His passion for riding
His journey through this world
When losing what’s precious gives us perspective
Reflection…
Travels on the Healing Road
