Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
This to all faithful, beloved readers,
and literary industry leaders
I am pleased to announce,
my next poem’s sure to be great,
a genuine page-turner.
well maybe not quite so lengthy.
a one, maybe half pager full stop
nonetheless a barn burner
replete with passion, ardent promiscuity
oops! That particular genre of verse
will have to wait till the first of later
I’ll remain within the bounds
of scintillating, passionate banality
filled with erudite social commentary
guaranteed the hoity toitiest of slop
or, perhaps a sad, sad story
of a pathetic, lonely dromedary

Thank y look so much, Lady K❣ it seems my desperation yielded the humor I intended. NaPo's nice because I prove to myself that I can write 30 poems without one being erotic. Isn't hoity toity z great phrase? 🤪🤠
