the less now i find to speak
the more that i tend to know

when i lose my temper with thee
i find you also to be at ire with me

soon as i make my amends with thee
oh you have done the same with me

still the more i keep regrets about thee
much the less of peace you bring to me

and yet how i wish not to be all of thee
you remark likewise aswell not to be me

all that i torment to ask now of thee
merely reflect my replies of you to me

upon realization now thus of thee
thine own lessons dawn upon me

the more that i now know of me
the less now i shall seek of thee

the more that i tend to know
the less now i find to speak
