The bitter, lazy, quitter
You know that feeling when your crying
And your face is red and hot
When showering is dreadful
But bathing in sorrows is not
When getting up is hard
But staying in bed is comfort
When you try to sleep at night
But insomnia comes first
When you don’t brush your teeth
When living takes effort
And just thinking about cleaning your room makes your fucking head hurt
When you can’t feel anything
But you feel everything at once
When isolation is pleasure
And your used to putting fronts
When you stare at the ceiling all day
And lay balled up like predators prey
And you always seem to wonder
What made you this way?
I call it depression
People call it bitter
My family calls it lazy
My friends call it quitter
And your face is red and hot
When showering is dreadful
But bathing in sorrows is not
When getting up is hard
But staying in bed is comfort
When you try to sleep at night
But insomnia comes first
When you don’t brush your teeth
When living takes effort
And just thinking about cleaning your room makes your fucking head hurt
When you can’t feel anything
But you feel everything at once
When isolation is pleasure
And your used to putting fronts
When you stare at the ceiling all day
And lay balled up like predators prey
And you always seem to wonder
What made you this way?
I call it depression
People call it bitter
My family calls it lazy
My friends call it quitter
