All Of It
I’m so grateful for you, and what I
Have with you,
But I want all of it.
I want all of your thoughts, all of your time;
All of your love, even though I’m not worth a dime.
I want a future with you, I want a home.
I want you and me, same couch and TV,
Cuddling, content, and carefree.
I want us together, ups and downs.
I want to hold on tight, no matter how many breakdowns.
I want to love you forever, no matter what.
I don’t want to see you walk out of my life.
I want all of it, I want you until I die.

Dear A,
I find myself with two contrasting thoughts from this poem. The first is love and its all encompassing blanket of desire and the second is be careful what you wish for. I love the overall innocence this projects of being madly in love and that’s the lane I’ll stay in😊
