sapling

I have faith in the trees to guide me
silent denizens who stand stoic and true
honest to the earth they carry wisdom

with the rustling of their leaves
I can hear whispers uttered
admonishing me to stick to the path

the sky blue reaches in and filters light to my soul
the green is in judgement
it will be as it should be
the daffodils aren't cutting any deals
natural law is fast
it doesn't linger or hesitate
it acts

I am rooted in the dirt
my limbs reach the sky
I am a vessel of faith
I guard all that is natural

I am wisdom
