Shadow
grey dawn of a new day
as discarded burial shrouds
on grey cracked soil
today
I swim among shredded thoughts of what was could have been
smiles tremble on my lips
listening to your voice
speaking from before
I wonder
If angel wings rustles as they furled
I wonder
if you're looking over my shoulder
I wonder
but then again you are always here
a mirror of my smiles
twins to my tears
echoes to my songs
a poem in my poetry
never forgotten
See you soon.
