The Some in All Parts
How can I be free is a part of me is confined?
While the rest of me struggles to move ahead
Is the total really complete if portions are lacking?
Unable to walk the path I wish to tread
If one of the sections is dragging and lagging
Will the rest of the group be just as good?
Every moving part should be well balanced
Otherwise it’s a moot point that’s misunderstood
If a piece of us bound how can we stand our ground?
The dissonance is sure to place us in shame and disgrace
And while people are oppressed and struggle to be free
What does that say about society and the human race?

I think it says that those in power are much better organised at pushing their agenda(s) than the general majority mass of people (who are not so well organised).
But even when some of the masses do get organised (such as the truckers in Canada recently), those in power shift the narrative away from their legitimate concerns, relabel them as 'anti-government', and use the incident as an excuse to bring in (in this case) extremely draconiam laws to stop it happening (eg: freezing bank accounts).

I think I left this open to interpretation, enough so that we can probably see the different points of view. In marching band (I am a big music nerd), all the sections had to put their effort in order for the entire group to more in syncopation.
I felt that this could apply to many different aspects of life once I grew older, working with different companies, churches and organizations. I think for movements to work, everything not only has to be transparent but very cohesive, it's bound to make more of impact.

I think you're right. A small but cohesive group of people, committed with a coherent message, can have a big impact. But when it comes to the big sweep of history, my reading of it is that the few who rule the many are absolute masters at twisting everything around to suit their agendas.
