Absolute tosh...Just kidding by the way! "laughs" You seem to have quite the handle on yourself, mainly your "convictions" I do worry that you think too much of what other people think about you. You can't live life doing that...It will just eat you alive! Everyone wants to belong somewhere. This website for example, is evident of that theory...Where is it that you find yourself? Let me riddle you that...Does being goth, emo, or punk, have all the answers? Be "you" you may say that you're...but I see through that glass house of yours, I can see it from my own. I've had the same issues in life (albeit not as intense or severe as yours maybe) but along the same lines...Maybe we all need to dig a little deeper within ourselves and find the real "us" I think we as a society get bogged down by the mundane too easily, and we conform to ritualistic catalysts that we find home to. It's a shame that we can't find more depth inside our hearts to forgive others the trespass of our own mortal perils. I've read your posts for quite awhile now, some may say that you're seeking attention, while I believe you're seeking company. Are they the same? Who dare question someone else about their attempt at finding solace? Am I a spoiled brat because I dress different? Outward appearances only matter because we as a society find it easier to read labels, rather than try to understand what's really inside. I believe retarded consumerism is to blame. We've all been subjected to beta-testing in this biosphere we call planet Earth, nothing but guinea pigs (the whole lot of us) maybe it's a sick joke from God, maybe we weren't meant to get along at all? Or maybe, just maybe, we've disillusioned ourselves to the point of madness! Now we're all nothing but rage infected monkeys! Blood soaked apes full of hostile insecurities and deeper selfish egos. Most will lay their head on a pillow, but who will willingly lay their head on stone? I digress, as I've ranted on more than you have perhaps...Wonderful work. Keep it up! I don't mean to condescend or anything, but I think you need a lift. Hopefully I've helped a bit...:)    

i thank you for your advice ...in real life i'm not afraid to speak my mind , but i'm a nice person, this poem is from another person's point of view and not mine , people think i act like a little 'tearaway' but in fact i'm too nice (alot of my true friends often complain about that!) hope you look at this poem from a different light as i know that it be a bit of a mind fuck when first read, being a label doesn't have all the answers is just the way i want to be ..even if i'll be stoned to death it still won't change my mind , i just want people to see what stereotyping does to people..i hope this poem reaches out to other people in some way! :)

I love that the final line is I might be better than you one day
and on that note the way the poem was structured and the details and imagery were uncomparable to anything I have ever read OR written Paulinna, I love this poem and I hope you do not forget your FUCK YOU! attitude.
