WHAT I CAN CONTROL

I have learned,
in many ways,
even in hard ways
that there are
myriads of things
I cannot control.
What you or
others think
about me, what
you say about me,
what you like
or dislike about me;
what you give
or won't give me,
and much, much more.
BUT
what I can control
is the attitude I
choose and the way
I respond. I think
it was Plato who said,
"As a man thinks so is he."
Yes, I can control what
I think about you.
I choose POSITIVES
and true thoughts
about PERFECT YOU.
