Fooled
I am a sheep
You are a wolf
I was made weak
You were made to eat
You start with my heart
Then tear me apart
I let you get too close
But that's my fault I suppose
But how was I to know
That I would be dinner and a show
You wore a mask
You disguised yourself
I thought you were pure
I was almost sure
But here we are now
Me wondering how
All of this is possible
As you grin, teeth glowing bright
With blood dripping down your face
Holding my heart in hand
With it's decreasing pace
My eyes watch you run away
From where you left me to lay
Under the twisted tree
When your out of sight
My soulfull light dims out
Inside all you'll find
Is the soot
From where once was a beautiful fire
You are a wolf
I was made weak
You were made to eat
You start with my heart
Then tear me apart
I let you get too close
But that's my fault I suppose
But how was I to know
That I would be dinner and a show
You wore a mask
You disguised yourself
I thought you were pure
I was almost sure
But here we are now
Me wondering how
All of this is possible
As you grin, teeth glowing bright
With blood dripping down your face
Holding my heart in hand
With it's decreasing pace
My eyes watch you run away
From where you left me to lay
Under the twisted tree
When your out of sight
My soulfull light dims out
Inside all you'll find
Is the soot
From where once was a beautiful fire
