in the dusk I seek you shadow man  
I reach into midnight's veil just to feel you,  
to caress your thoughts

where monsters don't tread  
and anger doesn't warp who we are  
 
inside the static we are just noise  
echoing through the galaxies searching for purchase  
our manifestations voided ghosts of our divinity  
 
I swim through empty space searching  
seeking your voice  
I get lost in the dark  
then when all seems hopeless you pull me back to you  
I breathe relief to see your face again  
 
in the twilight I am glowing  
can you see my shine?
