Mobius Tripping
There is no death, for energy can’t die
We are familiars of the flesh, that’s no lie
We as humans suffer for the container
But we have no joy for what is in the container
Haha, we’re nothing more than shadows cast upon walls of each other’s hearts
Just so many caverns filled with loneliness, but we knew this from the start
With darkness starting to consume as our fires lie dying
Fires expected to survive off of betrayal, abuse, and each other lying
Regardless of how we insulated our hearts the cold was dragged in
The pain was on a Mobius strip about the chambers with no beginning or end
Some have turned to food to compensate for the pains of love
While others have decided to fill this void with their choice of drugs
Eating made you feel good, it was almost as if someone was there
The drugs tends to cloud the pain to the point you no longer care
This is severe hypothermia, you’re undress and exposing all to the world
Disoriented and in iced caverns, your need for pain spins and twirls
How do you grasp a hold and reorient yourself with reality
Do you wait for the cravings of food and or drugs to just let you be
Do you reach deeper into those caverns for what lies deep down within
Or do you agree to suffer outside of the container, wondering where Mobius begins
