Pride

What I feel within my pride...
Comes from deep, from deep inside...
Thankful for is what I see...
Thankful now, for being me...
All my blessings are all mine...
Given to me over time...
My life, my faith, my health, my me...
Given now for all to see...
Blessed with children, oh so loved...
My light of life, they never shoved...
Me to the side of all their being...
They knew the love that I was seeing...
To look at who I raised and love...
My pride it fits me like a glove...
My sons, my daughter, my life they are...
With them in it, i'll go far...
Now my man who seals the deal...
Makes my life become so real...
Family, that is what we are...
And always will be, by so far...
For one to no the price of pride...
It ouzes out from far inside...
