You asked if you were normal
I’d say you certainly are.
You seemed to ask if seeking help
Was taking things too far.
It’s never wrong to ask for help
Don’t force the pain inside.
Let’s find someone who'll help you through.
You’ll soon be back in stride.

In the last poem (A Broken Heart), my daughter asked if she was normal. Sometimes I respond to my daughter in rhymes and this was my answer to her. My oldest son needed counseling when he was in high school.
So worth it. Had issues with anxiety and depression.
My son to this day is thankful for it. So am I:)
Also, got him a guitar and wow. Just pours himself into it.

In this world there is so much to deal with regarding the many issues we face as people.
It was a wise decision to seek the guidance of a professional in these matters.
Our mental health and wellbeing is of paramount importance in being able to live well in this precious life we have.
