six sense

 
tangible feelings connected to the unseen
we are deeply affected in the ethereal sense
our emotions rise and fall as each day progresses
feeling the hurt of others around us

touching one another on the air
call it a vibe but you feel it in your gut
a six sense an otherworldly experience
it happens more than we know

a look, body language signaling a response
without thinking we speak to each other
on a unconscious level we move sometimes to tears
there's nothing really to do about it, it just is

I sigh, I weep, I wonder what's wrong
it may very well be someone you've come across
at the store or on a website
the internet has nothing on how we are intertwined with each other

I try to stay balanced within my soul
I don't want to bring another an internal storm
sometimes I fail and I stir the winds
it's then I have to begin again
