WORDS FROM PLATO
WISDOM
Here is another
piece of wisdom
I rediscovered in
my old philosophy
lecture notes from Plato:
"Every heart sings a song,
incomplete, until another
heart whispers back.
Those who wish to sing
always find a song.
At the touch of a lover,
everyone becomes a poet"
Today I shall imagine
your touch, even though
you are far, far away,
my beautiful lover;
listen to the wind and
you will hear my love song;
in your soul meet me
at the Kissing Place and
I will write new poems
FOR YOU.
Listen closely for
my whisper.
