Can you take the pain away, I'm so sad and all alone, laying watching TV and writing poetry on my phone

Dreaming of a special girl, one to make my life complete, to share all my heart with, oh how i dream of such a treat

Is she really out there or am I reaching for that unreachable star, will I ever find her or is that a wish to far

No more nights of loneliness, forever wrapped within my lovers arms, sharing smiles and secrets, sharing all her charms

Kisses, hugs and romance, feeling her beside me, laying skin to skin, I better go to sleep now, to let the dream begin

Sleeping is the only way I can bring her close and near, to share special moments, the ones I hold and treasure dear

So just as I'm dozing off, I send this hope out into the night, hoping it finds it's way to you and fills your heart with light
