I HAVE NO AGENDA

HONESTY

Time, experience, and
the pluses and minuses
in life have taught
me a thousand lessons
not learned or available
in classrooms, seminars
or businesses meetings.
All these have cleaned
my heart, mind, and soul
of being an agenda person.
I reject living a Halloween
"trick or treat" life
This doesn't mean that I
am an easy mark to be duped,
dumped as dum, or subject
to give a hundred dollars
as change for a twenty.
I have no specific agenda
to trick, take advantage of someone
whom I think has something I want
but if honesty is known
will not become a reality,
WELL,
it just dawned on me, that
I have an "agenda" and that's
to respect, honor, and treat
you beyond special. Meet
