The flame

The flame

You can see the ravenous hunger, burning deep within his eyes, the look of desperate man, a look he can't disguise

Pains of the aching wanton needs etched across his face, the look you knew you would see, when you slipped on lace

You knew it was his Kryptonite, you knew lace would put him in a trance, especially when you moved around in a mesmerising dance

Hypnotised by your grace, the lace releasing glimpses of your skin, the closer you got to him, the more you drew him in

You drew him closer to you, he went like a moth goes to a flame, like Icarus flying to near the Sun, he'd never be the same

With no thought of consequence he had no thought of heartache or such pain, he just wanted to be with her and he hoped she felt the same

But you can't get to close to a Goddess, you'll end up a sacrifice, it safer to adore her from a distance, please take this man's advice

For once the Godess touches you, your life will never be the same, in the morning she is gone and then only mortal girls remain

They all my be very beautiful, some may be perfect as it seems but sadly they will all fall short, to the Goddess of your dreams

So try to kerb your hunger, take heed to the warning from this phone, if you touch a Goddess, you'll end up all alone
