Hurt You Again

Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall,
His thundering footsteps pound down the hall.

Incy Wincy Spider climbed up the water spout.
Daddy can’t find you, he’s angry and starts to shout.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
You start to tremble, he isn’t far.

Old Mother Hubbard went to the cupboard, to fetch her dog a bone.
He’s found you, he’s beating you, he’ll say you’re accident-prone.

Little Bo Peep lost all her sheep.
He’s hitting you harder, you start to weep.

Hickory Dickory Dock, the mouse ran up the clock.
Your anguished cries are worryingly loud, so he gags you with his sock.

Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow?
His empty bottle deals your skull a forceful striking blow.

Ring ‘o’ ring ‘o’ roses, pocket full ‘o’ posies, ashes, ashes, we all fall down.
You’re sore, bruised and bleeding as you fall to the ground.

Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet, eating her curds and way.
Underwear down and down they stay.

All the King’s Horses and all the King’s Men,
Can’t promise Daddy won’t hurt you again.
