Hallelujah to A Brand New Year!
I look out the window and what do I see?
A cold and wetness that falls on the earth
Time has gone by, creating a change in me.
A change that was long ago ordained
For me to seek his face and continue to run
To be steadfast, I have remained.
Sadness and disease, goes on and on
Empathy present in an everyday eye
Still God has changed me day by day, one on one.
Thankful for His mercy and his love
Trying to be kind and not to judge
Still watching the coldness falling from above.
Hallelujah to a brand New Year!
May God have mercy on our land
As I continue to change for His glory and be the woman that was created with no fear.
To change to be like Him
As I look out the window
I know there falls cold and wetness on every limb.
A cold and wetness that falls on the earth
Time has gone by, creating a change in me.
A change that was long ago ordained
For me to seek his face and continue to run
To be steadfast, I have remained.
Sadness and disease, goes on and on
Empathy present in an everyday eye
Still God has changed me day by day, one on one.
Thankful for His mercy and his love
Trying to be kind and not to judge
Still watching the coldness falling from above.
Hallelujah to a brand New Year!
May God have mercy on our land
As I continue to change for His glory and be the woman that was created with no fear.
To change to be like Him
As I look out the window
I know there falls cold and wetness on every limb.
