Temptress

As I walked toward the dock
I can see my love resting on the deep, blue waters
Waiting...
Unmoved by any clock.
Beautiful as she lay
I can not imagine her suitors
For her beauty alone are they attracted
But time will tell and the price, they'll pay
She can not help but flaunt
Her lovely motor and gorgeous body
Her adventurous nature and worldly airs
All of these she does haunt.
She whom I have named
Temptress she be called
For in every way she is
A creation of man who is to be blamed.
And as I walk away
I can see my love resting on the waters
"Farewell, sweet Temptress," I do say.
