Bathed in fire,
consumed in the pyre
by the heat of a thousand suns
Yet why am I so underdone?
A mushroom cloud rises,
no more surprises
The whole world burning
has always been my yearning
Atoms splitting atoms,
stratum by stratum
Destroying hate
in the blazing light
of the thermonuclear force
of
your smile
