Tribute to Nonwriters

Tribute to Nonwriters
She sits there five thousand miles away
And asks me to write for her
What would please you M'Lady I ask
Whatever you like, she answers with a smirk like she were reading a book
One page at a time
Whenever she wanted something to read
Being my Owner, I simply replied
Yes Ma'am, as you wish
I start scribbling
No thoughts of what I would write
I'm not the great Shakespeare, WB Yeats or the littery genius John B Keane (my home town:))
I cannot run off at the mouth whenever I wish to compile
Such words of beauty that sweeps away the wings
From beneath my Owner whenever I'm asked
Or feel the compulsion to do so
To sit and ponder my compilation
To find the words that will bring a smile
To the One that owns this property
This is my dilemma, my chore I adore
'Tis no wonder I begin to smile
The end, it draws near
The great non poetic writer has at last some words
That I pray will suffice
That beautiful person that owns me
