My father loved Westerns. Louis L'Amour was his favorite. And he loved watching the movies too. John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef! Robert Mitchem. And the television shows: Bonanza, High Chaparral. . . I need to shut up now. But, I will say this, reading L'Amour's books led me to my love of historical fiction.
