Dear M,

Plot twist at the close of this poem was a shock. I very much enjoyed the inspiration and homage that I imagined for the person being written about. Then I was disappointed they left. Without word. Ugh. That’s the worst. Then I was annoyed with them. Then it made me think sometimes we get people in our lives who are just meant to be there for a certain period even the feeling of loss lasts forever. Great reflective write. H🌷

I really liked the flow and imagery of this.
And although ultimately sad it has real beauty to it.
A life has seasons...as does the sea. Alas, often beyond our control.
