October

rain and snow
it's wet below
it's crystalized above

where mountains soar
in winds that roar -
with nature I'm in love -

the atmosphere,
we all hold dear,
spinning round and round

pressures high
and low it's why
there's a whooshing sound

in the trees,
through rustling leaves,
dripping as they blow

onto the ground
where I am found
as I come and go

in a place
so close to space
stars twinkle in the night

where all on Earth
from every birth
depend on one star's light
