A world so fake

Police chase a stolen car and the sirens howl through the night
The drunken has beens argue amongst themselves looking for a fight
The marching powder has marched its troops deep into depression
Now the economy has yet again hit another recession
Sometimes we overthink Sometimes we don't think enough
I know life can be hard sometimes controlling one's emotions is tough
But if we can stay true in a world so fake I think we are half way there
Just surround yourself with love and happiness and people who genuinely care
