Another Grandmother, Mother or Daughter didn't come home today
and their love ones are worried if they are okay
They didn't show up to work or school
or maybe a play date at the pool
It has been 21 years now that Diamond and Tionda Bradley have been gone
and no one arrested for this wrong
Their info. in now a cold case
and sits in a bankers box some place
As a society we all pay the cost
as these love ones and family suffer the ultimate loss

The original title of this poem was 64K when I wrote this back in 6/16 the number of missing POC women is now 250K and the media needs to shine a light on this problem.

I don't know what else to say but I wanted to say something...
I kind of feel like I country glorifies death
so I don't know what the answer is
people are content to be on television for being notorious
so they become stars kind of while the news is being reported
so on the one hand then if nothing is said cases go unsolved...
will anything change I don't know...

Perhaps if Real Housewives of Wherever and Love n HipHop the Umpteenth plus Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, et al mentioned them as much as the did Birken bags and Gucci things would change

Its such politic n power in all twisted forms..that all humans are not equal still & cared for ... this is a wake call to the so- (in)human(un)kind. so much such issues need to be in light in touching words ..as this .wrote on.& thanks fr the read.
