Downtown hues 2020
This time last year; downtown; it was so empty & quiet/ I just sat there a long long while/ the color of the sky/ all the shades of blue/ the reflections fell deep in my heart.

Dammit, why does this remind me of Dan? It's a beautiful reflection, Pisha ( both literal and metaphorical ).

Kansas City is the Paris of the Plains, and we'll always have Paris, Dan & me. 😆 🤣 He loved the music, and played many times down at 18 & Vine, among other venues.
I just want to mention something because it's in my heart.
Dan hated it because of the tragic loss of his daughter, & happened here. I met her once. She was a nurse at Children’s Mercy Hospital, and a wonderful person for being so dedicated to the children & the families of Kansas City.

He definitely had a love/hate relationship with KC. We talked many times about him making peace because the memories are ingrained. In acceptance lieth peace.
