For as long as I can remember,
This has been my fascination:
Water! Lakes, pools, rivers, sea.
If it's wet, I'll swim there.
Winding moorland stream?
Cold Highland Loch?
No problem!
I'll jump

I love the water too ... used to live a mile from the Chesapeake Bay ... now I am four hours from the Gulf of Mexico ... miss the ocean ... plan to go back next month ... thanks for sharing this reminder of the water I love ...

I stumbled on this one by chance and it's awesome, I love the way you broke down each body of water. I'm not really a water baby lol. But heart to heart this is s lovely piece:)

Water babe! Having myself experimented with wild water, ('showered' in a rainstorm as well as skinny dipped in sea at Wales) I can relate to this exultant piece. If confident of your health and immunity it's worth trying.

I am able bodied in the water, and not overly mobile out of it! I think that's part of the appeal.

There is something liberating going for a swim and immersing yourself in the water. And nothing beats a cool dip on a hot humid day.
Although, I do admit, in the ocean and in lakes, in the back of my mind I wonder what may be lurking and watching me.

We have various pools nearby, and are about 45 minutes away from the sea. :)
