I'm glad you were the one that got away.
Even though I wanted you to stay by my side until we were on our death beds.
Life has a way of making necessary things painful and unforgettable.
I wished things did not have to end the way they did between us.
I miss you every second of every day.
I hate you for leaving me!
Yet, I love you for making me know what love is really meant to be...
So I want to thank you.
Thank you for seeing me as I was and not this new version of me that everyone hates including myself.
I'm sure you would despise me if you knew how I turned out to be.
