Traitorous Allies
Be cautious with whom you share your hand
Some have ulterior motives to kill your plan
You may never understand their reason why
Even with deep observation by your third eye
Cry, dry your eyes and then keep it pushin'
Sometimes ties require fatal executions
The only resolution during seasons for reasons
Being betrayed can feel much like evil treason
Causing decisions contrary to initial strategies
After they cross the line into enemy territories
Stories of allegory that've been told in history
Now lie before you in what we all call reality

I couldn't help but think of the old song "know when to hold, know when to fold..and know when to walk away". There's many cheats out there and we gotta have a sharp eye to spot them.
