I liked the nuance of anticipation in this poem yet, separation can be a nightmare because of its inability for physical contact. I’m a sucker for a happy ending and I hope for a sequel to this poem when a meeting happens. I always enjoy your writes. They say so much with such an economy of words. Fantastic. H🌷

Long distance relationships depend on trust.
They are even more difficult to keep alive and sustain when the people have never met.
Hopefully once past the beta stage there is more promise of permanence.
