Firetruck
I look around the room
thinking I'm alone
so I start talking to myself
about the bullshit at work
-then you catch me
much like the time
I was trying out some rhymes
showering in the wee hours
-then you catch me
hey, what can I say?
I am strange
some would say, insane
but what is sanity anyway?
in a world full of conspiracy theorist
anti-vaxxers and corrupt politicians
I'm starting to think I'm the normality
so what if you catch me,
jerking-off to midget porn?
it's hard to explain
but I need something more
tired of searching stuff like
"anal clown tied to a firetruck"
yeah I guess we could role-play
but the time and money it would take
outfits and makeup alone
and where the fuck would we find a firetruck?
sorry, I'm loosing my train of thought
I am a bit strange
maybe deranged
but what is delusion anyway?
in a world that believes in spaceships
with martians
Jesus and the easter bunny
so shit is what it is
and I am who I am
but I can see it in your face
