Dark psychology made manifest.
Deep seeded human needs needed -
Outlets of darkness, a dark forrest.
Directionless means are heeded.
Hovering in liquid like vapors,
Awaiting the awakening
Of senses sent into furors,
In the form of a need
To feed, retractable fangs
Gleaming in seeming – normalcy,
Skulking postured things,
Nosferatu shaped calamity
Scurrying around street lights -
Moth shadow in quick creep,
Quickly disintegrated in slight
Crinkle sound – swallow,
Lips licked, movement -
Skulking postured things,
Sight seen, identified target
and the feeding begins.

Author's Note
I considered placing this in the Dark Genre, however, I am potentially at a point where nothing in this world really seems dark? Which is perhaps strange and something to meditate upon.
This is about psychic vampirism, a topic that I contemplate here & there.
(I think I want to write about like... oh... that one is perhaps dark? I dont know if I will write that.)(I think certain forms of death are dark... or the true presence of death?)(Just thinking...)
(Oooh... I decided to use an image of Nasferatu... You know the first poem I was going to publish here was called Nasferatu... wow... thinking back to that is perhaps strange, as there was a time I had no intentions to write poetry! I truly am grateful to be writing poetry.)
