Across the muscles and tendons

There are knots there

Slamming into my ribs
I am lightning
Igniting what’s hiding in yours
I worry you’ll kiss me
I worry your won’t
I no longer feel the struggle
Of trying to stay on my knees
On the mattress
The mattress overflowing with feeling
Brimming with euphoria
Can you die of euphoria?
I feel your weight press closer to mine

I worry your lips will fall down my spine
