Image for the poem BLACK DAHLIA

BLACK DAHLIA

She is the fortune of shadows everywhere
Sick with sugar and rich with despair
Celluloid sorcery a harlot on screen
With murder in the air of ravens jagged dreams

There’s something sinister here
Creeping like a voyeur to get a little peek
I love the taste of fear

Black Dahlia
Roll out the crimson carpet
Black Dahlia
I know you’re torn in two
Black Dahlia
The new angles we invent

The more you pray
The more I slay
Yes, you know I love you
Black Dahlia

I am the watcher peeking behind the curtain
Agent of chaos, lord of vermin
Slaughter on my mind, I’ll paint the town red
Roll the camera for the mass of the dead

There’s something sinister here
Creeping like a voyeur to get a little peek
I love the taste of fear

Black Dahlia
Roll out the crimson carpet
Black Dahlia
I know you’re torn in two
Black Dahlia
The new angles we invent

The more you pray
The more I slay
Yes, you know I love you
Black Dahlia

It’s opening night
And the bulbs flash
Highlighting the scene in blue
A withering sight
Upon her gash
Ragged and red a love so true

There is a mystery here
A masterpiece  in shades of scarlet vogue
My legacy is fear

black dahlia
Black Dahlia
Be mine
BLACK DAHLIA
There’s something sinister here
Creeping like a voyeur to get a little peek
I love the taste of fear

Black Dahlia
Roll out the crimson carpet
Black Dahlia
I know you’re torn in two
Black Dahlia
The new angles we invent

The more you pray
The more I slay
Yes, you know I love you
Black Dahlia
