Soul Sister (Bestie)
You’re gone, really gone
It’s been three months
We had over thirty year’s
I’m barely holding on
Without you, without you here
Memories hit me like a train
Photos of us, the real you and I
Our together, forever
Hopes and dreams
Gone
I’m here, without you
I still need you
We weren’t finished, our story
It was supposed to be you and I
Before our spouses, it was you and I
This feeling of emptiness
Your touch no longer real
I wear you, around my neck
Your voice calling my name, silenced
I only hear mine, saying yours
We were soul sisters
I will never have another, bestie
