Sunflower Sunsets ( Quatern Refrain)
As vibrant petals brush the sky
their hues enchant the passersby.
The yellows bursting forth from baize
where nature seeds her lush bouquets.
The sunlight gifts its warm reply
as vibrant petals brush the sky,
an artist etching cosmic rays
where clouds revoke their hideaways
And somewhere close, the children laugh,
while eve'ning signs an autograph.
As vibrant petals brush the sky
reflections tempt a youthful eye.
The breeze invades a verdant spanse
where blooming flowers shift and dance,
thus, night begins it's lullaby
as vibrant petals brush the sky.
