The Temptress
Come home with me
And may we?
Savour our delights
Crosstown obscurity
My Gorky shoes
Your misty tights
She played one foot
In front of the other
I drew a circle
From mind to arrow
Her smile made it complete
A circumference of style
And in her heated whisper
A mirror flashed back
To lonely dreams
My boots her anorak
Our waves of death
A ghost ship
Sailed by her & me
No crew to answer
No mutiny
Her course was wayward
The same as mine
And hardly a spell
And may we?
Savour our delights
Crosstown obscurity
My Gorky shoes
Your misty tights
She played one foot
In front of the other
I drew a circle
From mind to arrow
Her smile made it complete
A circumference of style
And in her heated whisper
A mirror flashed back
To lonely dreams
My boots her anorak
Our waves of death
A ghost ship
Sailed by her & me
No crew to answer
No mutiny
Her course was wayward
The same as mine
And hardly a spell
