Its hars to accept how others see us. especially when we always  hide our own thoughts about it or doubt the validity of their observasion of us . trusting  what is said usually comes at a price and sometimes that gives ti the disbelief of our beauty in the world    

Trust in general, can be hard to validate and confirm, even if it's been a long process that has painstakingly unfolded to allow trust to build and grow...The careful confirmation of blooming trust isn't easy, I get it, and I can definitely understand the hesitancy but there comes a time when you have to have faith in people (or a person) as well..... giving into the... possibility!.. The reinforcement of the good that is out there in the world and in turn the goodness within all of us....makes it all worth it... imo.  

Just my thoughts 💭....

Loving one self is the way to go. As long as you are happy that's what matters. Also I have love for many shapes and sizes, but that's a different story 😁hehe.

I learned the principle you speak of long ago. But you put it in a package wrapped with a measuring tape bow. So many young women struggle with this as do the young men who see it in terms of physicality. Thank you my dear friend for illuminating with such unique words and concepts what this is all about.

I greatly admire these comments, John. You're once again, absolutely correct. The lessons the younger generation learns of outward appearances being more valuable than the whole sum, is hopefully changing. The biggest concern is trying to get away from the stigmatization that society as a whole places on both man and woman, in ref to appearances.

I believe positive reinforcements of the self as a whole can lead to making positive changes in more than just the superficial but also the mental aspect as well. I think the third biggest cause of young adolescent deaths, is suicide. I believe the road to that terrible end begins, in part with a negative self image..... which is horrifying.
I am so grateful that there are those who see the importance of spreading a positive body image /self love awareness!!
