Broken Crayons

We come into this world new and fresh out of the box

the majority of us free of disease like the chicken pox


Different colors but all the same

each with our own name


We wear down as we grow older

due to the fact that all of life's weight we have to shoulder


But, in our heart's we still color as brightly

regardless how much a broken crayon we maybe be
