Rehearsal for elderly

A few years from now  
Some few
Decrepitude lies ahead
It won't be long
 
A dotted line as a single line of a poem
Smile...  A lethargic smile
I have less to gain...  
...and more to lose by being sad
 
Wow, I look at myself
I am getting older and older
What else can I say?  
I have had my share of struggles...  
But when I can rehearse elderly...  
Well, life has been good to me
